We've named this Rwandan coffee Kizuna (きずな), the Japanese word symbolizing the bond between people as we encourage and support each other in scaling what—on some days—seems like an impossibly tall mountain looming in front of us.
Before it ever reached us, this coffee was the fruit of an effort that speaks of Kizuna. It was grown by a cooperative of over 800 farmers in western Rwanda, who pooled together their coffee, resources, and knowledge with the intent of creating the best coffee possible.
