Named after the Korean word for sisters (자매), this coffee comes from the Djimma region of Ethiopia, where the high altitudes are conducive to providing excellent growing conditions for specialty coffee—in fact, it's from the same farm that we sourced from last month, except this month's is of a different lot. The GERA Estate focuses on sustainability and good working conditions for its employees. The Estate provides housing, childcare, education, clean drinking water, electricity, healthcare, and recreational facilities for all of its employees.
